Lamerton Tractor day and Country Fair 2016

We would like to invite you all to our fifth Lamerton Tractor Day and Country Fair which is being held on Sunday September 18th. As in previous years our aim is to give our visitors a taste of country life past and present. We have a wide range of things to interest all the family so you can bring Granddad and Granny as well as the kids.

The day will start at 10.30am with a tractor road run through beautiful Devon countryside. Trailers will be available if you want to join us. The main events in the ring will start at 11.30am

On return many of the tractors will demonstrate ploughing as will our visiting beautiful Shire horses. Fran Mudge, of Edwardian Farm fame, will be with us with his threshing demonstration which will be powered by a great steam engine. A fine collection of classic cars and working stationary engines will be on show.

Again we will have our ever popular Fun Dog Show run by Jess and the scouts will be providing exciting games and an adventure trail to keep your children happy. More of our four legged friends in the form of donkeys and ponies will be here for you to pet.

As usual there will be an abundance of delicious food available to eat and a cider bar and soft drinks stall where you can quench your thirst. Many local interest groups and stalls will be with us.

You will find us just out of Lamerton village - lots of signs will show you the way.

We aim to give our visitors an enjoyable day out while we raise money for charities who have helped local people. So all our profits will be divided this year between Myeloma UK, the 366 Derriford Cancer Appeal, the Brain Tumour Research Campaign and St. Peter's Church.

Do join us for a great day out.
